Oh Little Paper Bag Trees...

We are thankful for

God...our family...our health and oh yes let's not forget all the dessert we can eat today!!!

My daughter made everyone a paper bag tree for their place setting for Thanksgiving.

She cut out little leaves so everyone could write what they are thankful for.  One of my daughter's said they were thankful for Church and the other said they were thankful for God.  My son said he was thankful for candy!!!! (oh well..we'll work on him)

 
I love my white tree!!!

The day before Thanksgiving the girls made treats to pass out to our neighbors:

chocolate covered marhsmallows

This is the easiest dessert kids can make. 

Just dip two marshmallows in candy coating and then dip in sprinkles and package them up!

 
Put marshmallows on skewers and dip away!

We finally had a couple of cold days (high 50's) where we could open

the windows and burn a fire.

My kids sat in front of that fire for an hour and just watched it.

This is such a simple and beautiful thing a family can do together. 

No TV No radio No talking...just being....together.

Take in the little moments in life!
