After! The walls went from dark green to light gray. I painted the table and the armoire. And to add a little funkiness I painted the end chairs lilac! The slip covers are the ones from Gatherings in Georgetown I have been eyeing for a while now!
We had a little party for my girls' first holy communion so the table had some nice flowers and crosses. Here are some little goodies I made for the party:
These little boxes contained some cross shaped chocolates that you pour into candy molds and the flowers were made with the double sided crepe paper from castleintheair.biz.
I did not make these but they were so pretty I had to take a picture. The cookies are from the bakery Rise and Shine on 2222. The cupcakes are from Walmart.
I bought this hair band from Gatherings. I wore it to church. This store has quite a few antique hats and bands like these with millinery flowers on them.
Here are my little first holy communion girls and their cousin Kyleigh. We were very blessed to have our whole family share in this important day.
