Zilker Park and Home Slice Pizza

  The weather is still so beautiful here in Austin so we had to take advantage and ride the Zilker Park Train.

Here is a picture of one of the turns on Lake Austin while riding the train.

 

 

Then we ate a fabulous little dive on South Congress...Home Slice Pizza .  New York style!  If you are ever in Austin you must go to South Congress.  They have great restaurants and shopping.  I found this restaurant listed in a great little book called Eat Shop Austin.  

  

 I have been away from Austin for three years and when I visit places like this it really brings me back to what I love about Austin!  Austin has so many unique places to shop and eat at. I hope if you live here or you are visiting, you are inspired to try this restaurant and  visit Zilker Park.
