I have loved making crepe paper roses for friends but wanted to make some things for my house. So I used cotton for a vintage look. I first took the cotton sheet and dipped it in coffee to stain it. I then cut out all of my petals and pulled the thread for a worn look. I just can't stop making these...I love them. I am doing this in between working on my girls' bday parties so it has been a nice distraction.
I am using these as tie backs in my bedroom.
Here are some on a little pillow in my room. And yes those are my children's stuffed toys. I secretly take their bears sometimes and put them in here.
I made a large on and put it in my dining room.
Here are some on the little pillow on my favorite settee!
Last but not least I put some on pins and added them to my tank top! Yes, I am obsessed but love every minute of making them!
GASP! i love this. could you post even more details about how to cut them. i would so like to make some of these. they are lovely!!!
have you entered my giveaway? there's still time so come on by, sweetie.

These are so fantastic! I especially love the look of the flowers on your shirt. Thanks for sharing this sweet (and frugal) craft idea.

Love it! I'm so into fabric flower making. Your roses are beautiful. Have you tried doing organza flowers? Those are my favorite right now. You cut out different circles and use a lit candle to manipulate the shape and seal the edges. Then stack and add some bead(s) to the middle. They are purdy. It is another something I need to blog about. I'm so behind!
P.S. Love your decor, too!
